On Wednesday 27th May the club had the honour of hosting a county match between the Somerset and Herefordshire ladies teams.
It was a fantastic match, with Somerset eventually coming out on top after a closely contested game. Due to the heat, the match was played over slightly fewer ends than scheduled.
A huge thank you goes to our amazing club volunteers who provided lunch for all the players, it was greatly appreciated by everyone.
We were also proud to have the flags of Yatton, Somerset and Herefordshire flying from our mast for the occasion.
Events like this really highlight the incredible work put in by our members and committee to run and support the club. Hosting a county level fixture and showcasing our club in this way is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved. Well done all!
