Members of Yatton Bowling Club played a fun-filled mixed Aussie Pairs competition.
It’s a version of the game that tests the brain cells and gives players the chance to play in different positions.
Aussie flags were flying, plenty of sun hats with corks dangling from the brim, colourful clothing, kangaroos and lots of “G’Day Possums” to be heard by all the Sheilas and Bruces.
The winners were Allan Miller and Terry Rhys-Davies with Chris Lewis and Ian Lightfoot coming second after a hard /fought final.
The event was organised by four of our newer members Sarah Waring, Jayne Weare, Jackie and Ian Lightfoot. It was such a success they have been asked to make it an annual event in the bowling calendar.
